Patients were observed for 1-2 hours for clinical stability, and placement was confirmed with a chest x-ray. The device was removed if there was sufficient reexpansion (<1cm of apical air on chest X-ray) and no air leak. Patients followed up every 1-2 days till day 4. Time off work because of pneumothorax treatment.
