The Details of Back to Future (so far) Instead, the future is the past: In 2028, DR residents training from 2023-2027 will trade the current Certifying Exam for the new “DR Oral Exam.” All things being equal, we do want radiologists to interface well with ordering providers and have good bedside manner for direct patient care.
