Each year 40-60 PE patients are hospitalized. Post-PERT and post-AI, UTMB was able to implement a team-based, multi-disciplinary approach to PE patient management that led to better cross-department communication of intermediate and high-risk PE patients. Below Dr. Zaiden gives a brief overview of the abstract.
