Nonprofit system Geisinger in Danville, PA, has named Scotty Collins, MD, its new chair of radiology in a permanent position that was effective November 20. Collins has served as interim chair of radiology at Geisinger since April and in various leadership roles with direct physician management. He has been with the organization since completing his diagnostic radiology residency at Geisinger Medical Center in 2007.

Diagnostic imaging provider ImageCare Radiology, a privately-owned radiology and imaging center group in New Jersey, has exited its hospital-based practice, effective November 21, to focus on outpatient services. ImageCare supports 23 outpatient centers across northern and central New Jersey. Another two locations will open in 2025 as the provider continues to expand its reach and impact in the region, it said.
