Butterfly and partners collaborate on maternal health in South Africa

Ultrasound technology developer Butterfly Network is collaborating with the Clinton Health Access Initiative and the Global Ultrasound Institute on a maternal health initiative in South Africa. The partnership will initiate Phase Two of Butterfly's iQ+ probe deployment and point-of-care ultrasound training program for maternal and fetal health. The program is funded by a $5 million grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Butterfly received in March 2022.
